Willy Nilly is a minor character who made his first appearance in "Go Goo Go" and appears in various other episodes. He is a joke filler for the term "willy-nilly," meaning to do something randomly without any direction or planning.

Appearance[]

Willy Nilly is an imaginary friend on wheels who has a pale-white head with pink cheeks, a red clown nose, and hot pink hair. He wears a green clown outfit with yellow rhombuses, a dark green bowtie, and a yellow party hat with a green pompom.

History[]

Willy Nilly first appeared in "Go Goo Go." Mr. Herriman states that Goo is a menace because she "thinks and imagines willy-nilly," meaning that she constantly creates new friends at random. Willy mistook this for Herriman claiming that Goo was his creator and says that his creator's name was actually Kevin. Herriman tells Willy that nobody asked him, and Willy rushes off.

After not appearing for over a season, Willy Nilly reappears in "Better Off Ed". Bloo sees him and announces his paintball battle, causing Willy to refuse by storming into the nearest room.

Another "willy-nilly" joke is used in "Bad Dare Day." Madame Foster says that it isn't right to go around the house daring people all willy-nilly. Willy again mistook this for someone referring to him or something he had done.
