  • The song that Coco sings on the boat while the Jamaican band is playing is in a similar tune to the song "Coconut Conquers Japan" played not much later in the episode.
  • Eduardo, Madame Foster and Mr. Herriman are absent in this episode.
  • This is the third episode where Bloo calls someone a rip-off artist.
  • Tara Strong sang the song "Coconut Conquers Japan".
  • Dee Bradley Baker guest stars as Chi Chi.
  • The cash the contract guy gives the waiter is 50,000 yen, which translates to $451.79 US.
  • This is the second episode after "Bloooo" to have Mac only appear in the beginning.
  • The scene where Coco travels to Japan has a similar design to the 2004 Cartoon Network series Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi and has the same background music that has been heard in most episodes from said show.
