Phineus B. Vurm

Phineus B. Vurm is a bookworm imaginary friend who makes several cameos throughout the series.

Appearance[]

Phineus is an imaginary friend with a worm's body and almost-bald, humanlike head with tiny arms and legs. He wears large glasses, a red bowtie, and a brown vest. He carries a pencil in either ear and a book in each arm.

History[]

Phineus B. Vurm's only speaking lines in the show are in "Phone Home", where he congratulates Wilt for finding another lost friend and attends Bloo's lost friend meeting, and "Cuckoo for Coco Cards", where he tells Bloo that Bloo's Coco Card is not very special and shows his collection of Bloo cards.

Phineus B. Vurm's most prominent appearance was in the short, "Petrified Pet". Bloo finds a strange rock on the ground and Phineus declares it to be a fossil. Bloo then treats his newly found fossil as a pet rock until the next day when Frankie points out that it is actually petrified feces. Phineus then exclaims that just because he's a bookworm doesn't mean he knows everything.
